Simple PHP was written for someone who doesn't know a whole lot about coding. Even though you'll definitely be able to pick it up a lot faster with some HTML experience, it's not necessary by any means.
That's probably the only negative thing I really found about his course. If you're completely new to programming, it was definitely take you a little longer
